George Armatage Dies; Active in Area Clubs.
George B. Armatage, 91, of 341 Palmer Ave., died yesterday at Community-General Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Albany, Mr. Armatage came to Syracuse in 1910. He was a sales and office manager of the Misner Mfg. Co. 40 years, retiring in 1963.
He was a member and former elder of Park Central Presbyterian Church. He was a 50-year member of Central City Masonic Lodge and a member of the Monarch Club, Current Events Club, the Syracuse Rose Society, and the Onondaga Valley Garden Club.
Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Bessie Hulbert Armatage.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
Contributions may be made to the Syracuse Boys Club.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Mason Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
