Abe Arenson Was Hotel Owner Here
Abe Arenscn, a long-time resident of Margaretville and former operator of Murray's hotel here, died Sunday in West Palm Beach. He had been ill for six months with a brain tumor.
Burial was in the Hillcrest cemetery at West Palm Beach Tuesday following services at the SouMidale chapel there.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Celia Schrier Arenson, two sons, Maivin J. Arenson of West Palm Beach and Jack J. Arenson of Lindenhurst, L. I., seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A native of New York, Mr. Arenscn was born Aug. 17, 1899 to Hyman and Celia Arenson. He lived in Arkville for many years. He had operated the hotel and restaurant in Margaretville for 14 years and had a home on upper Main street here. He and Mrs. Arenson left here seven years ago to live in Florida.
