DURALDE-Funeral services for Mrs. Clementine Ardoin, 72, will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:00 A. M. at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Duralde, LA. The visitation will be observed from 8:00 A. M. until service time. Monsignor J. Robert Romero, V. E. will be officiating. Burial will be in Ceasar Cemetery.
On Monday, May 26, 2014, at Eunice Manor in Eunice, LA, an Angel of the Lord, with special orders in hand, came and called Clementine from this life to eternal rest.
Cherishing beautiful memories of her will be her husband, Morris Ardoin, Sr. of Duralde, LA; three daughters, Shirley (Vaughan) Johnson of Morehead City, NC, Leslie (Nathaniel) Williams and Pamela Deculus both of Slidell, LA; four sons: Clement (Darlean) and Gustave Ardoin both of Duralde, LA, Stacey (Kim) Ardoin of Eunice, LA and Dexter (Yvette) Ardoin of Duson, LA; twenty-four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Orelia Gobert; her grandparents; two daughters: Charlene and Andrea Ardoin; one son, Morris Ardoin, Jr.; one sister, Evelyn "Lou" Cole; two brothers: Alee and Willie C. Gobert.
