Dennis Roy Ard, 48, a native and resident of Summerdale, died May 21, 1996. Survivors include his wife, Billie Ard; two daughters, Kari D. Ard and Kita Ard, all of Summerdale; his mother, Mildred Cook of Bartow, Fla.; two sisters, Linda C. Willard of Tamp, Fla. and Roxanne Ard of Mobile; four brothers, Arvie Ard of Robertsdale, Michael Ard of Summerdale, Douglas Ard of Athens, Ga. And Kenneth Cook of Ft. Meade, Fla.
Services were held May 24 at the Greenwood Bible Deliverance Church with the Rev. Marie Harms officiating. Burial was in the Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale. The family prefers that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Society or the American Kidney Foundation. Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale.
