Dolores M. Archuleta, age 88, born on April 30, 1923, passed away on August 22, 2011, in Santa Fe NM. Dolores, born and raised in Santa Fe, was a life-long member of the Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family and friends. She was employed by the State of New Mexico until her retirement.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Manuel E. Archuleta and her sisters Sarali Dillon and Nellie Casados.
She is survived by five daughters: Mary E. Romero and husband Felix of Santa Fe, Jo Anne Martinez of Santa Fe, Vikki Jackson and husband Terry of Rio Rancho NM, Kathy Lopez and husband Richard of Santa Fe, and Patricia Baca of Santa Fe; sisters Corine Nieto of Santa Fe and Amy Trujillo of California; brother Joe Lopez and wife Dorothy of Santa Fe; grandchildren Angela Quintana and husband Kenny, Brian Romero, Jennifer Trujillo, Adrian Trujillo, Alicia Ortega, Sarah Lopez, Victoria Lopez, Amy Baca, and Trish Baca; great-grandchildren Amanda and Nicholas Quintana, and Loren and Faith Baca-Lucero; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
The family gives special thanks to the Beehive Homecare caregivers, the Amber Care hospice nurses, and to Janice and Ron C. de Baca.
