Helen graduated from Gray High School in Idabel and attended SE State University in Durant. She married Thomas Nelson Archer, Jr. on July 14, 1952 in DeQueen, Arkansas. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing cards. Helen is survived by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by both parents; son, Russell Archer; and 7 brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held 1 pm, Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Tulsa. Arrangements are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home.
