Armine Marie Acosta, 94, a native and resident of Larose, died at 10:45 p.m. Aug. 15, 2003.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the K.C. home in Larose and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church of Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at the Holy Rosary Mausoleum.
She is survived by her sons, Earl, Emery, Ronald, Marvin and Dale Acosta; daughters, Ruth Danos and Beverly Savoie; 27 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonia Joseph Acosta; parents, Yves and Pauline Pellegrin Arceneaux; sons, Joseph and Clyde Daniel Acosta; a great-grandchild; brothers, Noless, Edwig and Magnus Arceneaux Sr.; sisters, Aline Ficther, Alice LeBlanc, Armel Culotta, Agnes Plaisance, Armance and Adele

Amina married Lonia Joseph Acosta and was the daughter of Yves Arceneaux and Pauline Marie Pellegrin .
