JULIETTE --- Services for Redia Bell Gordon Appling will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Mount Salem Baptist Church, Gray, with burial in Appling Cemetery. Appling , 76, died Friday, March 31, 2000.
Survivors include her husband, Grady Appling ; children Puella Grant, Melvin Appling , Frances Cherry and Donald Appling , all of Macon, Milton Appling and Jacqueline Turkes, both of Gray, Vaughn Appling and Diane Byron, both of Juliette, Ronald Appling of Charleston, S.C., Gray Appling of Monticello and Andrea Mays of Forsyth; sister and brothers Frankie L. Jackson and Howard J. Gordon, both of Monticello, and Doyle Gordon of Covington; 28 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
