Services In Tularosa For Mrs. Nowell
Last rites have been scheduled in Tularosa for Mrs. Mary Nowell, 49, who passed away at Gerald Champion Memorial Hospital Wednesday following an extended illness.
Rosary services will be conducted at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m., Friday and funeral mass will be held at the church at 9 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dennis Mahoney will officiate, and burial will be in Mullins-Hamilton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Clifford White, Jerry Tellers, Pete Gililand, Fay and Alfred Nowell and Larry Salcido.
Mrs. Nowell was a lifelong resident of Tularosa, having been there March 14, 1919.
Surviving are her husband, William T. Nowell, of the family home at 703 Chris Drive in Tularosa; three sons, Jerry serving with the Army, and Robert and Tony, both of Tularosa: and three daughters, Patricia, Margaret and Linda, all of Tularosa: and three sisters, Mrs. Ed Holguin, Mrs. Manuel Diaz and Mrs. Anisceto Valdez, all of Tularosa.
