Jeanne B. Apgar, 98 passed away Friday, November 11, 2016. She was born April 4, 1918 in Summit, New Jersey to Herbert LeRoy and Lida Collyer Barrett. Jeanne lived in Mt. Tabor New Jersey for 77 years before moving to Port Charlotte, FL.
Jeanne was a past member of the Order of the Eastern, member of the Mt. Tabor Methodist Church and a member of the Mt. Tabor Country Club where she picked up golf in her later years.
Jeanne was the beloved mother of Robert Apgar, Susan (Apgar) Darcey and the late Richard B. Apgar. She is survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Jeanne was preceded in death by her late husband William Lloyd Apgar Jr. A celebration of life was held at her daughter's house in Port Charlotte, FL. Burial will be held at a later date at the Greenwood Cemetery Boonton, NJ.
