Elizabeth Leilani Spencer (Apana) became an angel on June 24, 2016. She was 92 years old.
Born in Honolulu, Hawai'i, on Dec 24, 1923, Elizabeth was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and tutu. Elizabeth joins her husband, Joseph Kahapea Spencer, daughters, Jo-Ann Lum and Jo-Jean Tyau, and son, Joe-meyer Spencer, in life eternal.
Elizabeth is survived by sons Joseph Spencer, Joel (Lurnette) Spencer, Joey (Winifred) Spencer, and Jody (Faatuatu) Spencer; sisters Eunice Andrade and Harriette Diaz; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary in Kane'ohe. Public viewing begins at 5:30 pm and will end at 9 pm. Services start at 6:30 pm. We will return the following day, Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at 10 am for burial services.
