Services for Mrs. Carmela Anz, 60, wife of John Anz of 153 Port Watson Street, who died Tuesday, Feb 9, 1943 in the Cortland County Hospital, were held yesterday at St. Anthony’s Church. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Anz was born in Italy on Feb. 4, 1883, and had lived in Cortland for 25 years.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Joseph Cosko of Cortland; two step-daughters, Mrs. Anna Canestaro and Mrs. Mary Bertini, both of Cortland; and eight stepsons, Carmen Cosko, George Cosko, and John Anz, Jr., all of Cortland; James Cosko of Cleveland, Ohio, Nicholas Anz and Ernest Anz of Endicott, Cary Cayil of Norfolk, Va., and Thomas Anz of Sulphur Springs, Fla.
