She was a beloved mother and homemaker. She was loved by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She developed Alzheimer's disease in her later years, but remained the sweet loving soul that everyone always knew. In her younger years, She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She made delicious recipes during the Great Depression despite having very little food. She also hand quilted many beautiful quilts for her family.
