A very beautiful and impressive wedding ceremony was solemnized at the Corning Baptist Church Sunday, July 11th at 3 o'clock in the afternoon when Vina Mae Gourley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Gourley of Shenandoah, formerly of Corning, was united in marriage with Leon Jr. Antisdel, son of Mr. and Mr. Leon Antisdel of Carl, Iowa. The bride was attended by Mrs. Carl Tugel, sister of the groom and Jeannette Maxedon. The groom's attendant were Carl Tugel and Dale Gourley, brother of the bride. The young couple are well known in this community where the bride graduated from the Corning public school and High School and the groom attended school at Carl. During the last year, Mrs. Antisdel Jr. taught school near Carl. The newly weds will reside at Carl, Iowa, where the groom is associated with his father in business.
