Calvin M. Anthony, Sr. passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at North Oaks Hospital, at the age of 66. He was born on Wednesday, May 25, 1949, in Independence, Louisiana.
Calvin is survived by three daughters, Theresa Prine Anthony, Barbara Sullivan Anthony, Delilah Anthony; seven sons, Calvin M. Anthony, Jr; Gus Anthony, Calvin "M.C." Anthony, Johnny Glenn Anthony, Anthony Dillon, Sammy Cutrer, Evan Cutrer; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Wilford Lee Anthony; sister, Lisa Ann Anthony.
He was preceded in death by his parents, M.C. "Bull" and Barbara Baham Anthony; daughter, Sharon Denise Anthony Hihar; and multiple brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 10:00 am until the funeral begins at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Briar Patch Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana.
Mr. Anthony will be greatly missed by family and friends.
