DEATH NOTICE

MOSHER-At her residence, in this city, after a lingering illness, on Friday night the 11th inst, Hannah L. Anthony, wife of Eugene Mosher, of Rochester, N.Y.

Mrs. Mosher was a sister of Col. D.R. and Susan B. Anthony. She was born at South Adams, Mass., September 18th, 1821. She came west in the hope of improving her rapidly failing health. She was thoroughly domestic in her habits, and was one of the most devoted of wives and most indulgent of mothers. But while her home was her world, she was in full sympathy with the reforms championed by her sister, Susan B., and was one of the fifteen women who voted in Rochester in 187. She was possessed of more than ordinary force of character, was energetic and determined, and has struggled heroically for two year past against the disease which finally resulted in her death; but when she was that further effort was useless she submitted to the inevitable, and met death without a murmur or a fear. She had been educated a Quaker, and died firm in the faith, without a doubt of the future. She suffered greatly during the last two weeks of her sickness, but was free from pain at the close, and passed away as gently as though going to sleep---surrounded by her entire family, and her devoted sister Susan B., who had been constantly with her during the last month.

The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, from the residence, 826 Shawnee street.

FUNERAL NOTICE

The funeral of the late Mrs. Hannah L. Mosher took place yesterday morning from the residence, on West Shawnee street, at 10 o'clock, the Rev. Wm. N. Page conducting the exercises. The cortege reached Mount Muncie cemetery shortly after 12 o'clock, where, after a short service by the Rev. Mr. Page, the body was consigned to its mother earth. The deceased was followed to the cemetery by quite a large number of friends and relatives, all of her children, and her brother and sister, Col. D.R. and Miss Susan B. Anthony being present. The last sad rites at the grave were very impressive, yet simple, after which the remains were laid in their last resting place
