Mechanic/Wrecker Service WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mr. Alton Dorsey Ansley, Sr., 87, of Grant Dr., died Monday morning at the McDuffie County Hospital. Mr. Ansley was a native of Warren County and had lived in Wilkes County most of his life. He was a mechanic and operated Ansley Garage Wrecker Service in Washington for many years. He was an army veteran of WWII and was the husband of the late Thelma Ruth Thornton Ansley. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Kathy Lamon officiating. Pallbearers will be Jasper Davis, Walter Tuttle, Joe Charpin, Dan Coxwell, Tommy Dunnaway and Melvin Crawford. He is survived by one son, Alton 'Sonny' Ansley, Jr. and wife Linda, of Washington and two granddaughters, Laura Lee Mann and Lisa Ann Dunnaway.
