Charles Waldon Ansley
Bloomingdale-Mr. Charles Waldon Ansley, 77, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Hospice Savannah. Mr. Ansley was preceded in death by his wife, Nelouise Price Ansley and two brothers, Robert Holt Ansley and Ronald Raphael Ansley. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired from Union Camp. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed working on things. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sally F. Shuman & Buddy of Ellabell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur Lee "Al" Flanders, Jr. & Cheryl of Pembroke and Charles Waldon "Chuck" Ansley, II & Robin of Bloomingdale; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, LaFaye Oliver & Junior of Lyons and Shelby Jean Pelote of Silk Hope as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral: 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
