Marvin E. Annett, formerly of Chicota, died June 16 at 3:30 p.m. in St. Paul Hospital at Dallas, having lived there 15 years. Residing at 3141 Longmead, he worked 12 years for Braswell Motor Freight Lines. The funeral in the Baptist Church at Chicota, will be held Saturday at 4 p.m., Fry & Gibbs of Paris making burial in Forest Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. J. L. (Bill) Wideman will officiate. Born in Oklahoma, Oct. 17, 1909, Mr. Annett was a son of W. P. and Bertha (Massey) Annett. He was a Baptist. He married Miss Jessie Marie Seay, in October, 1933, and she survives, besides five sons, Pat and Mike Annett, Dallas; Milburn Annett, Carrollton; Wayne Annett, Houston, and Larry Annett, Little Rock, Ark., besides grandchildren. Also a brother and five sisters; William Annett, Mrs. Addie Brown, Mrs. Bertha Kinworthy and Mrs. Elsie Chadwick, all of Chicota; Mrs. Myrtle Armstrong, Brookston, and Mrs. Opal Hardy, Houston.
