W. P. Annett, 73-year-old resident of Chicota, died at 1:35 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his home where he had been confined by illness during the past six months. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Forest Chapel church. The Rev. W. J. Wilson, Methodist minister of Chicota, will conduct the service and burial will be at Forest Chapel cemetery. Surviving are his widow, three sons, Howard, Marvin and Willie Annett of Chicota; seven daughters, Misses Bertha and Opal Annett, Mrs. Mamie Hildreth, Mrs. Myrtle Armstrong and Mrs. Elsie Chadwick, all of Chicota, Mrs. Addie Brown of Grant, Okla., and Mrs. Etta Griffis of Elmore, Oklahoma. Mr. Annett, who was engaged in farming prior to his death, had lived at Chicota at various intervals during most of his life.
