Wedding: Annie Altenberger to Frank Anhalt
Last week Tuesday at the St. Peter and Paul Church, Father M. Schmitz united in marriage Mr. Frank Anhalt from Millhome and Miss Annie Altenberger from Ada. After the service a small celebration was held at the home of the bride’s parents in Ada attended by a few relatives. The young couple will make their home at the house of Mr. F. Kasper from here.

Mrs. Frank Anhalt, 72, died at 12:30 a.m. today at her home, Eighth and Milwaukee streets, after a six-week illness. The former Anna Altenberger, she was born near Ada on March 26, 1869. On Jan. 10, 1899, she married Frank Anhalt of Millhome at Ss. Peter and Paul church, the late Rev. M.J. Schmitz officiating. They resided in Kiel for four years and then went to a farm near Kiel where they lived for 37 years. Two years ago they sold their farm to their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bolz, and since have lived in Kiel.
Survivors are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Bolz and Mrs. John Stauber of St. Nazianz; eight grandchildren; and one brother, Fred Altenberger, Millhome. Three sisters and four brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the Meiselwitz Funeral home and at 9:30 o'clock at Ss. Peter and Paul church with burial in the church cemetery.
