Mildred Anglin Harris passed away on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015. She was born to George S. Anglin and Clara Williams Anglin on June 16, 1930, at Okeechobee, Fla.

She is survived by her husband B.P. Harris; a son, Barry P. Harris IV (Paula) of New Bern, N.C.; and one sister, Linda A. Smith of Hazelhurst.

Mildred was predeceased by two sisters, Peggy A. Parks and Carolyn A. Herrin; and one brother, Robert L. Anglin.

She was a 1946 graduate of Glynn Academy and a longtime member of the St. Simons Cotillion.

Mildred was widely traveled in the U.S. and internationally to 38 foreign countries.

Private entombment will be at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
