CLARENCE ANGLE, 87, formerly of Mercersburg, died Tuesday morning at the Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home, Boonsboro, Md.
Born near Mercersburg, he was the son of the late Clayton and Sarah (Miller) Angle.
He was a member of the Welsh Run Church of the Brethren and was a retired farmer.
Surviving him are sons, Lloyd Angle, Waynesboro R.D. 1; Clayton Angle, Mercersburg R.D. 2; Roy C. Angle, Greencastle R.D. 3; Robert Angle, Mercersburg R.D. 1, and John W. Angle, Mercersburg R.D. 3.
He is also survived by daughters, Mrs. Clement Gerhart, Mercersburg R.D.2; Mrs. Albert Angle, Greencastle R.D. 2; Mrs. Paul Zeger, Mercersburg R.D. 1; Mrs. Fred Yeager, Chambersburg R.D. 4; Mrs. John Horst, Hagerstown, Md.; a brother, Harry Angle, Fairmont, Minn.; 37 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Welsh Run Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Henry Hunsberger and the Rev. Russell Martin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Lininger Funeral Home Thursday from 7to 9 p.m.
