Mrs. Ruth (Angle) Abeling, (IHS 1966), 51, Ilion, passed away on August 7, 1999, at home, after a brief illness.
She was born July 20, 1948, in Ilion, the daughter of Paul and Beulah Hyde Angle, and graduated from Ilion High School class of 1966. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Utica College.
She married Ronald Abeling on September 18, 1969.
Ruth was an occupational therapist at the Developmental Services Offices in the Syracuse area.
Survivors include her husband, Ron, her mother, Beulah 'Bea' Angle, her son, Roy Abeling at home; one stepson, Christopher Abeling; her sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Charles Carey of Utica, her uncle, Sam Hyde and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother, Harry Angle, and her father, Paul Angle. Interment was in Armory Hill cemetery. (August 11, 1999)
