Adeline Angelo, 89, of 16 Lindy Lane, West Hartford, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Friday (May 28, 2010) at Hartford Hospital.
Born January 2, 1921 in Carpinone, Italy, she was the devoted wife of the late Dominic Angelo.
She was a member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in West Hartford for forty years.
A loving and devoted mother, she was predeceased by her son, Anthony, sisters Caroline Vendetti and Grace George and a brother, Mario Valenza. Adeline leaves a son, Dominic and his wife Alice Angelo; daughters, Rosalie Angelo, Lillian and her husband Roy Gaudette of West Hartford, and Rita and her husband John Williams of Louisiana; grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Philip Fichera of West Hartford, Jason Williams of Louisiana, Johnette and her husband James Troyan of South Carolina, and Anthony and his wife Elizabeth Angelo of Maryland; plus a soon to be born great granddaughter, Natalie Samantha Troyan. She is also survived by sisters Linda and her husband William O'Neill of New York and Maria Petta of Italy, two brothers Manfred and his wife Ortenza Valente and Ernie and his wife Kay Valente, a sister-in-law Mary Valenza of Canada, plus several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held in Newington Center Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a memorial service which will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the West Hartford Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 30 Highland Street, West Hartford.
