According to her Washington state death certificate, Solveig was the daughter of Olaf Angell and Aslaug Hansen. She worked as a sales clerk in retail clothing.

"SOLVEIG ANGEL O'LEARY OIE

Solveig Angell O'Leary Oie died November 13, 1994 at her home at Wesley Care Center in Des Moines. She had lived at Wesley Terrace since 1987.

Solveig was born in Sorreisa, Norway, the seventh of thirteen children. She immigrated to the United States, coming to Ellis Island, in 1922. Her first husband, John O'Leary died in 1942, and her second husband, Norman Oie, died in 1983. She was a milliner for Hattie Carnagie in New York, and after moving to Washington, worked as a saleslady for Rottle's in Kent.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia O'Leary Michelsen; four grandchildren, Christopher and Phillip Michelsen of California, Catherine Dressel of Texas, and Karen Porter of Kent. Also seven great grandchildren, Stacy, Zachary, Katelyn, Kyle, Mariah, Graham and Megan.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Zion Lutheran Church in Kent. Memorials may be sent to Zion Lutheran Church in Kent."
