Albert Ivan Andrews Jr. 65 of Baytown, Texas passed away May 3, 2007. Ivan was born on October 4, 1941 in Houston, Texas to Albert Sr.and LaRue (Tyler) Andrews. Ivan was a shift supervisor for Chevron-Philips for many years and also did a lot of volunteer work. In his spare time he also enjoyed gardening, camping, woodworking, cooking with Baytown shrine club cook team, flying model airplanes, and most of all spending time with his family. Ivan was first Vice President of the Baytown Shrine Club and was very involved with the Shriners Hospital in Houston. Even when he became ill he still went to the airport and picked up families and also helped with the Shrine Circus when it came to the Houston area. Ivan was a very kind and caring person who always had a smile on his face and he will be missed by all that knew him.
Ivan is preceded in death by his father Albert Ivan Andrews Sr., sister Florence LaRue Andrews, and grandson David Baker. He is survived by his loving wife Leah Andrews, mother LaRue Andrews, daughter Amanda LaRue Andrews, daughter Amy Andrews Mashburn and husband Michael, son Anthony Andrews, stepdaughter Beatrice Ward and husband Craig, stepdaughter Evah Leigh Primeaux and husband Ricky, stepdaughter Dana Baker, sister Virginia Harrison and husband Dan, brother David Andrews and wife Linda, brother Kenneth Andrews and wife Kathey, brother Russell Andrews, grandchildren; Allen Andrews, Landen Mashburn, Candice McKee and husband Jason, Leslie Hemmenway and husband Stephen, Jarrid Ward, Lori Ward, Alexander Primeaux, great grandson Gavin McKee, his two best friends Heidi and Pixiebell and many other relative and close friends.
Services were entrusted to Sterling White Chapel Funeral Home of Highlands, Texas.
