Barbara L. McDonald, 68, went to be with the Lord May 11, 2015. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thurs., May 14th at Chapel Hill - Butler, 701 N. 94th St., KCK. Funeral will be 3:00 p.m., Fri., May 15th at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund. Barbara was born Dec. 10, 1946 in KCK to Harry and Nellie Anderton. She was a member of the Northland Abundant Life Worship Center. Barbara was an avid reader, wrote her own poetry and songs and enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd Ross McDonald, her brother, Manciel M. Anderton, and her step-daughter, Brenda Lutrell. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann Burnett; her step- children, Vickie Browning, Brian McDonald, and Eugene McDonald; her siblings, Marjorie King, Donna Minter, David Anderton (Diane), and Deborah Beckham (Robert); as well as many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Arrangements: Chapel Hill – Butler, 701 N. 94th St., KCK. Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens. Dignity Memorial.
