MILLARD ITEMS- Faulk County Times

August 9, 1887-

Born- To Mr and Mrs Charles Anderson (Betsy Oberg), Sunday August 7, a son.

This child never had a birth certificate filed from SD so either he died before he needed one or used some other means for obtaining Social Security. The child does not show up in the 100 year births in South Dakota. Maybe he is the one buried at Millard. He had a sister Mabel Almira born in 1/28/1892 and she filed for a birth certificate on 9/30/1943. I found her in the 1910 census living with
Emeline Aberg (should be Oberg) in Tacoma Wa. Didn't find any of the family in the 1900 census. Wonder if this Emeline is a sister to Mabel's mother.

One of the later maps shows an A as a first initial.

Charlie Anderson was a trustee of the cemetery and thusly owned a plot.
