Mary Lou was born in Eau Claire on July 27, 1927, to Theodore and Beulah (Curtis) Weideman. She married Robert Anderson in Stillwater, MN, on October 11, 1947. Together they enjoyed participating in many Moose Lodge activities until Robert's death in 1996. She remained an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1408, Chapter 557 WOTM, where she held all officer posts for the Women of the Moose and served as Deputy Grand Regent for the Women of the Moose State of Wisconsin.
Mary Lou loved to travel with family and friends.
Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Judy Bonnin of Rice Lake, WI; son, Ron (Mary Kuzma-Anderson) Anderson of Mondovi, WI; grandchildren, Carol (Josef Fortier) Lane, Lori (John) Bedene, Karen Lane, Kevin Anderson, Aimee (Brian) Hennings, and Angela Anderson, 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; and sister, Patricia Graham.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave.. Eau Claire. The Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1408 will conduct Moose Rites at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013, at First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave., Eau Claire, with Pastor Lowell Halvorson officiating. Visitation will also be one hour prior the service at church on Friday. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, GiGi, and friend who will be sorely missed by all.
