Bessie Inis Henderson, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Henderson was born near Lovilia, IA, April
22, 1890, and died at the home of her parents on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1913, at 8:30 o'clock p.m.,
aged 23 years, 6 months and 19 days.
She was united in marriage to Albert Anderson on November 27, 1912. She had been sick for
the past eighteen months and altho it was known that she could not live her death was indeed a
shock to her relatives.
The funeral services were held at Union chapel, Thursday, Nov. 14, 1913 at 11 o'clock a.m.,
conducted by Rev. J.P. Hehner, of Lovilia, and the remains were interred in the chapel cemetery.
She had TB and so the story goes they knew she was going to die but decided to marry even so.
