Bonnie Call Anderson, 79, of Ammon, died Friday, December 12, 2008, at Sacred
Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, of complications following heart
surgery.

She was born September 28, 1929, in Bountiful, Utah, the oldest of five children
born to Glenn Call and Elsie Viola Ellingford Call. Shortly after her birth, the
family moved to Ammon where she grew up and attended schools. She attended Ammon
High School and later earned her GED.

On September 22, 1946, she married Merlin Darold Anderson in Dillon, Montana.
Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple March 6, 1947.

She lived in Kansas City while Merlin attended school and in 1948, they moved to
Pocatello. In about 1956, they moved back to Ammon. They wintered in St. George
for the past 8 winters.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
where she held several positions including 18 years as a Primary worker, a
member of the Relief Society Presidency and as a temple worker. She served a
mission with her husband to the Albuquerque New Mexico Mission from 1996-97;
their mission time was spent in Tuba City, Arizona.

She enjoyed reading, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Bonnie was kind, considerate, sensitive, a peacemaker, always in the middle of
the fun, "a perpetual teenager"; her whole world was centered around her family
and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by the following: husband, Merlin D. Anderson of Ammon;
daughters: Merlene (Ronald) Day of Bandera, Texas; Bonnie Suzan (Kevin) Nield
and Cindy Lou (Darrell) White both of Bountiful, Utah; sons: Dr. Joseph Merlin
(Mie) Anderson of Ammon; Michael Kim (Konni) Anderson of Spokane, Washington;
Douglas Glenn (Becky) Anderson of Vancouver, Washington; sister, Darlene (Boyd)
Cherry of Blackfoot; brothers: Hal (Sharon) Call of Pocatello; Karl (Maria) Call
of Choctaw, Oklahoma; Daniel (Iris) Call of Tooele, Utah; 19 grandchildren and
22 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Gay
Anderson.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008, at the Ammon
10th Ward Chapel, 4375 Sunnyside Rd. with Bishop David Hurst officiating. The
family will visit with friends from 7-9:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, December 17,
2008 at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls and from 10-10:45 a.m. at
the church prior to the services. Burial will be in the Ammon cemetery.
