Margaret L. Allmon, 85 of Bartlett, Tennessee, formerly of Yorkville, Tennessee died on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, June 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Norris Anderson and the late Maude Lee Smith Anderson.

She was a homemaker, former member of Bethel Baptist Church in Yorkville, Tennessee and was presently a member of Bartlett Woods Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Mrs. Allmon will be 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Derek Williams and Bro. Stan Phipps officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery in Yorkville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by two sons, Terry Glenn Allmon (Bicki) and Danny Ray Allmon (Phyllis) all of Yorkville, Tennessee; three daughters, Brenda C. White of Bartlett, Tennessee, Joyce Ann Ford of Dallas, Texas and Sheila Kay Halford (Terry) of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Hattie Louise Watson of Newbern, Tennessee and Doris Nell Ragsdale of Tampa, Florida; eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Glenn Allmon; three brothers, Ray Anderson, Mitchell Anderson and Junior Anderson and one grandson.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Amy, Marc Ford, Greg Benjamin, Jeff White, Chris White, Eric Allmon, Rodney Travis and Joe Watson.

The family ask that memorial contributions be directed to Bethel Baptist Church Relay For Life Team, P.O. Box # 55 Yorkville, Tennessee 38389.
