Kesiah was married to Preston White before she married to Gabriel. She and Preston had two children, Parolee and Leatha. It's assumed, but not known, if she and Preston got a divorce but she brought Parolee into her marriage with Gabriel and Leatha stayed with her father in Hamilton County, Illinois. She and Gabriel eloped to Missouri. Parolee had four children while she was living with her mother and Gabriel. The father of these children is not known and they carried the surname of White. Once Parolee's mother died in 1866, the two remaining living children's names were changed to Anderson and they claimed that Gabriel was their father.
