Ina Lee Anderson, 73, of Center Ridge, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2009. She was born July 9, 1936 in Fort Smith, Arkansas a daughter of Herbert and Ora McDaniel Morris. Ina was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Birdtown, Arkansas.She is survived by her husband, Kennard Anderson; daughters, Deborah Graves (Austin) of Solgohachia, and Sandy Williams (Scott) of Birdtown; son, Kenny Anderson of Center Ridge; three sisters; three brothers; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, James Monroe Anderson.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Doyle Glass and Bro. Jason Johnston officiating.


Ina loved her family and her God. She suffered from Uterine cancer and the repercussions of the treatment of the cancer for the last 7 years of her life. Despite the pain that she went through she was steadily faithful in her devotion to attending church as often as possible. Having her family near her was her greatest joy and one of her top priorities.
