EVA MULLINS ANDERSON Interment Berea Cemetery
Born April 27, 1922
Died July 7, 2015

Eva Mullins Anderson, 93, of Berea, widow of Buck Johnson Anderson, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Berea Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born at Climax, Kentucky, in Rockcastle County, April 27, 1922, daughter of the late James Nathan and Dovie Ann Morris Mullins.

Following graduation from Berea College Academy, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and worked as a tele-typist for Western Union. After WWII, she returned to Berea where she married, raised her family and lived the rest of her life. She retired from Parker Seal Company with over 30 years of service. Eva was a longtime active and faithful member of First Christian Church of Berea.

Eva and her husband Buck loved to dance and performed many years with the Renfro Valley Square Dancers at the Renfro Valley Saturday Night Barn Dance. They also enjoyed other types of dances including clogging which she continued to do after her husband's death until she had a stroke in 2006.

She loved to travel and went on many trips with the Berea Rotary Club. Basket weaving was another activity she greatly enjoyed. Eva belonged to a basket weaving class at Eastern Kentucky University and took great pleasure in giving the baskets she made to family and friends. One of the greatest joys of her life was her love for her family and friends whom she cared for as long as her health permitted.
