Julie Rae Anderson, 60, of American Fork passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 in the American Fork Hospital surrounded by her family after a hard fought battle from kidney failure. She was born in American Fork, Utah, July 10, 1955 to Russell Glen Anderson and Shirley Robinson Russon. She was the second of six children.

She graduated from American Fork High School and shorty after began her work with special needs children. This was more than a job for her; she loved the children and often brought them home for the weekend.

Julie was happiest with a golf club in her hand and spending time with family camping in Fairview. She was a hard worker and it was not uncommon for her to have several jobs at one time. She employed most of her family members whether it was in the ceramic business or landscaping. Julie had a contagious laugh and was loved by many. She loved being an aunt and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She loved her dogs Molly, Spanky and Darla.

Julie is survived by her Mother, Shirley, Step father Kenneth M. Russon. Brother, Jeff Anderson (Liz), Sister, Jodi Frost (Brad), Sister-in-law, Angie Anderson and Step sisters: Kena Green (Robert) and Anette Allan (Tim). Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, brothers, Mike and Larry Anderson and Sister, Gina Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, Utah.
