Our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully March 18, 2008 after a lengthy hospital stay.
He was born April 6, 1927 to John Edward Sr. and Gerda Anderson in Richmond, Utah. Married Madge Fuller in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, November 25, 1946. Jack led a long and full life. He served in the Navy in World War II. Worked at Kennecott Copper for 25 years. He was a master craftsman building cabinets and remodeling kitchens, bathrooms and basements for many homes in the area and making many friends as well. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church and served in the Primary, as Scout Master, and ward clerk. He loved his family and enjoyed his many friends. He was especially close to his brother and sisters as they lost their parents at an early age. He particularly enjoyed the family Christmas party, family reunions, trips to the West Coast with the Massies, and New Years Eve with his hometown friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward and Gerda; step-mother Ruth Stallings; sisters, Aldine Nelson and June Newman. Survived by his wife, Madge; sisters, Dena (Theone) Hansen, Enid Long, Coleen Pinkerton; brother, Ray (Bonnie) Anderson; children, Kirk (Linda), Randee (Brent) Robles, Tyler, Terry (Tracy); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
