Daughter of Lydia Stevenson and Robert Wallace. Malazena and William Anderson married Sep 10, 1850 in PA. Mother of William Wallace Anderson (b. @1852), Ada Anderson Haven (b. @1854), James Anderson (b. @1856), Edwin C. Anderson (b. @1858), Grace Wallace Anderson Highberger (b. 1861), Anna Cora Anderson Haven (b. 9 May 1862), Joseph Anderson (b. @ 1865) and Jane Anderson Edrington (b. 1868). Malazena's husband was a well known newspaper editor, and they lived in a very large house. For a while, at least, George Westinghouse, of Westinghouse Airbrake fame, and his wife, as well as an Benjamin Black, an oil merchant and his wife, a minister, Samuel Fisher, and Martha Anderson, born in 1800, possibly William's sister or aunt, lived together in the house at the same time as at least 7 of William and Malazena's 8 children, a total of 15 people.
