Reta M. Anderson, 91 of Templeton died Thursday, March 26, 2009 in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Born April 27, 1917, in Rimersburg, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Buzzard and Vernie McAfoose. She was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith. She enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William C. Anderson, in 1990; and daughter Mary E. Bird of Hamburg, NY on March 25, 2009. She is survived by a son-in-law James H. Bird of Hamburg NY; a grandson MichaelJ. (Kim) Bird, and grandaughter Linda R. Bird both of Hamburg, NY and a great granddaughter Faith Angel Bird. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m at the Kennedy Blodgett Funeral Home, Kittanning where a funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. John W. Snyder of St. Luke's Church of Christ, Kittanning officiating. Burial will be in the Cochran Cemetery, Templeton.
