Peter "Pete" Andersen Sr. passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015, at his residence. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 705 Airport Freeway, Hurst. Pete was born May 8, 1945, in Norfolk, Va. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Vietnam War veteran. Pete retired from American Airlines. Survivors: Sons, Peter Douglas Andersen Jr. and Andrew Andersen; daughters, Cassandra Andersen, Victoria Pearson and Roxanne Stutz; and four grandchildren.
