Who was Charity Anders? There is only one other Anders listed in the addendum of the Galilee Baptist Church, page 461 of the Amite County Cemetery Book: Coonrad Anders, Sr. NOTE: Documents list his name as Coonrad and others as Conrad.
QUESTION: Is Charity Coonrad/Conrad's mother, sister, or daughter?ABOUT THE CEMETERY:
Amite County Cemetery Book, page 130 (research ca 1950-1979 before the book was published):
"Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery is located 1 mile south of Gloster on Pepper Road, or .5 mile south of intersection of Hwy 33/24 and Pepper Road. East side of road, barely visible, next to fence. Abandoned. Galilee Baptist Church organized 8-14-1824 this location, Joseph Slocumb and William H Erwin presbytery. Church moved to Gloster about 1884." The only interred listed in the cemetery book at that time were
Martin V B Dye and Trezvant G Gerald.

Amite County Cemetery Book, page 461 (added ca 1979-1982, as an addendum just before the book was published):
"It was reported to us that the Old Galilee Cemetery was almost entirely overpassed during the construction of a road. Only two markers were found at this site, Martin V B Dye and Trezvant G Gerald. The following is a list of membership deaths taken from the early church rolls. Names recognized from other cemeteries in this book were eliminated. It is therefore likely that some of these persons were buried at the original site. Old church minutes are available from various sources, but the most accessible source is probably 'Casey's Amite Co, Vol 2,' pp 236-239."

https://www.findagrave.com/user/profile/47602678I have also checked Find-A-Grave to make sure names in the Amite County Cemetery book addendum were not duplicated because they were removed at the time of building the road . . . and buried elsewhere.
