Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services.

Entombment will take place in Fountain Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Ancelet, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the son of the late Roy Ancelet of Crowley, Louisiana and the former Barbara Hebert of Rayne, Louisiana. Kenneth, what an incredible husband, father and grandfather we are having to say good-bye to. He was blessed with a beautiful and talented daughter who would eventually marry the son he never had. Through them, he would be granted three wonderful granddaughters who were his pride and joy. There have been many people who have experienced his ability to hunt and fish; and those people know that he was "The Best"! Aside from his obsessive need to be neat and organized, he was genuinely a spiritual and kind man. He always seemed to find a way to bring out the best in every person who he came into contact with. His employer and working family for over forty years, B.I. Moody and The Moody Company, along with Chart House and TMC Foods, will forever be grateful for his dedication and ambition for success. We will miss him and need him at times, but he has taught us all how to come together and stand proud and tall. For who we are, is who our creator has wanted us to be. And through these words, his love and soul will forever live within us.

He is survived by His loving wife and forever friend Jackie Ancelet; his daughter Cherie Ancelet LeBlanc and husband Ryan LeBlanc of Abbeville, LA; three grandchildren Brooke, Emma and Elise LeBlanc; one sister Arliene Romero of Lafayette LA; one brother Jimmy Ancelet and wife, Priscilla of Duson LA; nephews, Stacy Ancelet, Dr. Roderick Romero and Derek Romero; mother in law, Mrs. G. L. Newman of Rayne, brother and sisters-in-law Dr. & Mrs. E.L. Bercier, III of Rayne, Tim and Suzette Mader of Lafayette, Joey and Paulette Newman of Arnaudville, and Carl Newman of Rayne along with a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents.
