Mrs. Cassie Amson 38, wife of Joe Amson, proprietor of Auditorium Studio on the Pine Avenue Pier, and photographer for The Press, died yesterday afternoon at 4:45 at the home, 714 Magnolia Avenue. Mrs. Amson had been critically ill during the past year with pulmonary tuberculosis.

Mrs. Amson was born in Big Creek, Miss., but has made her home in Long Beach during the past eighteen years.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Amson; her mother, Mrs. Julia Blair, and a sister, Mrs. Elmer Mossberg, both of 114 Mira Mar Avenue; Mrs. C.W. Hutchison of Los Angeles, Mrs. C. H. West of Santa Cruz and three brothers, J.P. Blair of Los Angeles, Warde Cook and Walter Cook of Elko, Nevada.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. in Mottell's chapel. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery.

The sympathy of the whole community, which has been with Mr. Amson during his wife's illness, is continued in his bereavement.
