CECIL AMOS
The death of little Cecil Amos, daughter of Carl and Nellie Amos, Tuesday evening, July 6th, has cast a shadow over the friends and settled the mantle of sorrow on the hearts of the members of the home circle.
Two weeks ago she, childlike, ate several green apples, and not being very robust of health, inflammation of the stomach resulted. She suffered much pain though bearing it patiently.
She was the eldest child and possessed a very bright and lovable disposition. Cecil would have been eight years old next month.
The funeral will be conducted from the M. E. church this afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Roderick, with interment in the Chariton cemetery.
