Born in Adamstown, April 28, 1928, Mr. Ambush was a son of the late Charles H. and Emma Bruce Ambush. Mr. Ambush was employed for a number of years at Frederick Iron & Steel Company as a machinist. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy.
Surviving, besides his wife, are three daughters. Miss Wanda Moore, Takoma Park, Miss Mary Moore, Hyattsville and Mrs. Marilyn Crawford, Silver Spring; one son, Donny Ambush, Gaithersburg; two brothers. Frederick Wilson Am- bush, Washington. D. C., and William Arnold Ambush, Frederick; five sisters, Mrs. Catherine Harris, Mrs. Louise Harris, Mrs. Emma Duckett, Mrs. Elizabeth White and Mrs. Dorothy Makel, all of Frederick; one granddaughter, Patricia Moore; and a number of uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Asbury United Methodist Church. Frederick. The family will receive friends from 8-9 p.m. at the church. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday. Oct. 2, at the church. The Rev. John L. Ford, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Ar- rangements were by Hicks Funeral Home, 263 W. Patrick St., Frederick.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church.
