Daughter of Issac & Martha Fisk
Ruth E. Ambrosini 88 years old, passed away Monday June 25, 2007 at Woodview Assisted Living in Mays Landing. Born in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Issac and Martha Fisk, she lived in Scranton for 41 years. She moved from Scranton to Philadelphia in 1960, with her late husband, John R. Ambrosini, Sr. and her son John R. Ambrosini Jr. Her husband of 52 years, John R. Ambrosini, Sr. died on September 27, 1992. Ruth converted to Catholicism and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church for many years prior to moving to Philadephia. While in Scranton, she also worked many years for Capital Records Club. She was also employeed in Philadelphia as a cashier in Shop n' Bag prior to retiring with her late husband in Hammonton, NJ, where she was a memeber of St. Joesph's Catholic Church and the Elm Towne and Winslow Twp. Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her son, John R. Ambrosini, Jr. of Egg Harbor Twp, NJ her granddaughter Denise Stevens of Newark, Delaware and grandson John R. Ambrosini III of Rosemont PA. She was affectionately known as (Me-Mom) by both grandchildren.Surviving in Scranton are her brother in law Milton Ackerman, sister in law Mary Fisk and several nieces and nephews.
