DEBRA MARIE AMADON
Debra Marie Amadon, five-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald H. Amadon of 220 Silver St., died Wednesday at the Children's Hospital in Boston, Mass., after a long illness.
The child was born in Bennington April 11, 1963. Her mother is the former Loretta Lanoue.
She was an exceptional child for her years and loved music. She had participated and made many friends in the nursery school which her mother operates, and for a short period had attended kindergarten on Hillside Street near her home.
Besides her parents, she is survived by four brothers; Dennis Amadon, a student at Christian Brothers College in Memphis, Tenn.; Steven, who attends Mt. Anthony Union High School; Christopher, enrolled at St. Francis de Sales Academy, and Daniel Amadon, who is a pupil at Prospect school, North Bennington; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Cecile Lanoue of Bennington and her paternal grandfather, Henry Amadon of Pownal; uncles, aunts and cousins.
Calling hours at Mahar & Son Funeral Home are Friday from 7 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to her memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund through the funeral home.
The Mass of the Angels will be offered at 9 am Saturday in St. Francis de Sales Church. A prayer of the funeral home at 8:30 will precede the Mass.
