Amador Alvarado, age 82, was born in Loving, NM and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2008 with his wife and family by his side.
Amador was preceded in death by his son, Amador Alvaro Jr.
Amador is survived by his wife, Julia of 52 years.. Surviving children are Mary Lou Miera and her husband, Albert, Annette Montoya, Linda Frésquez and her husband, Lenny, Gerald Alvarado and his fiancée, Lupe Guerrero, Janie Alvarado and Nemo, brothers, Joe Uranga and Renee Alvarado, sisters, Amelia Urquidez, Lorena Baldarama, Carmen Amaya and Rosita Alvarado, grandchildren, Angela and Stephanie Miera, Jerome Montoya and his wife, Monica, Jocelyn and Jennifer Montoya, Leonard, Leeanna and Lamar Frésquez, Janay and Mia, great-grandchildren, Angelique, Andres, Hailey, Elias, Marcus and Marisa and numerous nieces and nephews.
Amador will be remembered for his hard work, generosity, strong spirit and his loving and enduring commitment, especially to his wife and family.
A special thanks to Heritage Hospice, Maily and John and Dr. Saavedra.
A Rosary will be recited for Amador on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 3828 4th NW. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lenny Frésquez, Albert Miera, Lamar Frésquez, Andres Uilbarrí, Leonard Frésquez and Jerome Montoya.
