Alyce Mae Bolton-Alphin, 84, of Tallahassee, Florida, went to be with the Lord suddenly on July 27, 2016.

Alyce was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 5, 1932 to her parents Alice and Vincent Kumer. Alyce married her teenage sweetheart, Delbert Alphin, on April 23, 2014. Alyce enjoyed a successful career as a property manager for several management companies in Nashville, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky and had a passion for painting and writing. Mrs. Alphin had several published writings and was an accomplished artist.

She is survived by her loving sons, Eugene Bolton, David Bolton, Michael Bolton and his significant other, Donielle Mann. She is also survived by her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly; Michael Bolton Jr., Jina Bolton, Jason Bolton, Alicia Raker, Angelica Bolton, David Bolton Jr., Summer Bolton and her little darling Kayla Bolton, and her adorable great grandchildren, Allison Steffen and Lilly and Regan Bolton. Additionally she is survived by her loving sisters Rose Sochacki and her husband Ed Sochacki, Ruth Buyck, and proceeded in death by her younger sister Vicky and parents Alice and Vincent Kumer.

Alyce tremendously loved her whole family and life itself. She loved the Lord and praised Him every day. Her love and dedication to the Lord was her joy. We know that she is now dancing on the streets of Heaven with her husband. Mom showed compassion and love for every human being she came into contact with. Her sole desire was for her family to know the Lord. She was a kind, compassionate and loving woman who will be greatly missed.

Her last days were spent receiving care from the wonderful people and staff at Westminster Oaks in Tallahassee, Florida. Flowers can be sent to Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home or in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Alyce Alphin can be made to Westminster Oaks in Tallahassee, Florida.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida 32311.
